Guild Wars 2 implements a very dynamic level system, which grants a lot of awesome benefits to the gw2 gold game for both newer players, as well as more experienced ones. Let's take a look at what makes the dynamic levels so great! After, we're going to look at some notes that you will want to keep in mind when utilizing the system.
It Works Both Ways
Not only are higher levels scaled down to lower levels, but in some cases the lower levels are boosted to higher levels! This is true all the time for World vs. World combat, and has also been the case for the Halloween event, where players, regardless of level, had their stats boosted to that of a level 80. This leads us on to the next major benefit.
Events Can Include Everyone
Rather than having to make multiple events for various level brackets, greatly reducing the amount of content for players, everyone is able to take part in the same things. As a great example of this, the Mad King's instance (part of the Halloween event). In this instance, players, whether level 2 or level 80 can all take part and all contribute to the success of the dungeon. In other games, there would either be multiple watered-down instances (due to having to make more than one to account for everyone) or a lot of players wouldn't even be able to take part (due to having only one instance and requiring a high level). The dynamic levels in this sense ensure everyone can take part, regardless of their level.
Experience or Re-Experience Low Level Content
For players like myself, clearing all of the end-game gets a little repetitive. To help keep from doing the same thing over and over, I often end up being forced to make alternate characters for lower level content. This is because while I like experiencing lower level stuff again, I don't want to one-hit everything either. The dynamic levels allow going to any lower level zone and still having a bit of a challenge. While this is true, though, all new skills (such as level 80) are available when dropped to a lower one, so it is still easier, but it's not even close to being a steamroll.
Playing With Friends is Easy!
Let's face it: mmo's are social by nature and that often leads to desires like playing with friends. As part of this, especially with how many levels there are in GW2, people won't always be at the same level unless they only play when each other are on. Luckily, the leveling system helps eliminate this problem by allowing you to still play with your friends and earn rewards, experience and just have fun. This is true whether helping out with the heart tasks, doing dynamic events, etc. Regardless of your level and theirs, you're always able to group and on somewhat equal grounds.
It Allows Class Testing
One of the most common questions gw2 gold gamers ask is what class they should play. There are multiple choices and people just don't want to take the time to level up one of each solely to figure out what it's going to be like at end-game. With the level boosting in place for the Heart of the Mists and experience the game at maximum level with end-game gear.
If PvE is what you're after, you can still benefit from the Heart of the Mists. If you head to the south-east corner, you will find many different mobs you can test your skills out on. And in the western side of the island are test dummies you can experiment with as well. This helps not only understand what skills are at your disposal, but it also gives a method for testing them out in real-world combat, as well as learning how to play any class at the maximum level. At that point, if you want to test your character out in PvP, you can simply jump in a match!
Some Notes
There are some things you will want to keep in mind regarding the system and its levels:
If you go to a lower level zone, your drops will be lower level. Along with this, the rewards for taking part in the various zone events will be lower (although still higher than what you'd get at the “proper” level)
The teleporting costs remain the same depending on your level, so it's still costly to keep porting around in a lower level area. Repair costs will remain the same as well. This is all offset by the somewhat easier combat, but you can still be overwhelmed easily if you're not careful
The benefit of out-leveling quests is almost non-existent. Unless you're getting new skills by getting to a higher level, and those skills will directly benefit you in the combat, gaining extra levels doesn't matter, since you'll be down-leveled to an appropriate one anyways. Instead, it's a good idea to take it slow and learn the game properly, rather than attempting to use levels to pummel enemies with ease
You can effectively test out all sorts of gear in the Heart of the Mists. There are vendors there that sell all sorts of weapons, plus you can find other gear as well. Whether you are rank 1 or higher doesn't matter for this purpose either, since the only difference between the various ranks of gear is their looks
